An identity system designed for a local cafe located in the historic district of Tainan, Taiwan. 'Piano piano' or 'take it slow' in Italian, captures the cafe’s concept of slow dining experience. The logo adopted an original handwriting style along with the illustration presented in the relaxed manner. The playfulness of two domesticated cafe cats is also incorporated as part of the branding. The colour palette sampled from the cafe’s interiors infuses a fresh warmth throughout all communications, reminding customers to indulge in the cafe’s slow pace.
